The Mail on Sunday Golf Club Classic was launched 16 years ago, and it has grown from just over 700 clubs in 1993 to almost 3,000 teams in 2007.
To complement the match reports in the paper we will bring you regular stories and updates from around the country as we go through the regional rounds before culminating in the finals in November 2008.
