Welcome to the Daily Mail Foursomes

2008 will mark the 48th anniversary of the Daily Mail Foursomes; a tournament that is now regarded as the greatest amateur golfing event in the world with more than 190,000 players competing in their club qualifying rounds . 

Entry is open to members of golf clubs in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland, with each club invited to enter one men's pair and one women's pair in the championships.

Club qualifying competitions

While the weather is good many clubs will be holding qualifying competitions, to find two players to represent them in next years Daily Mail Foursomes. 

If you have already had your qualifying event we look forward to receiving the winners' details later in the year, when online competition registration is open.

Illegal drivers - new R&A rules

As of 1st February 2008 some of the large headed drivers are now illegal.
